    Biography:

    Dr. Refat Kibria was born in a renowned family of Sylhet. His primary, junior and secondary education was in Blue Bird High School, Sylhet. He passed his higher secondary from Dhaka Residential Model college. After that, in 2003 he was graduated from Islamic University of Technology (An organ of OIC) as an Electrical and Electronic Engineer. He has distinct academic record all through his studies and from the begining of his career got himself involved in teaching. First he joined Metropolitan University, Sylhet as a lecturer. Then he joined Department of CSE, SUST as a lecturer in early 2004. Since then he is serving the department as a faculty and became an associate professor in 2015. He had his MEng degree from South Korea under IITA scholarship and Doctor of Philosophy from Australia under IPRS scholarship. During his PhD research he served as a research consultant in Australian National Broadband Network (100 Billion dollar project ). His wife Naharin Zafir is a teacher in Anandaniketan school in Sylhet and only daughter Rida Kibria is in preschool.
