Electrical & Electronic Engineering

    Academics / EEE

    Overview

The Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) was established in 2011 under the leadership of Professor Dr Muhammed Zafar Iqbal with a vision to inspire the students in research through quality academic programs, top notch faculty members and professional technical and administrating staff. As an innovative and dynamic department under the School of Applied Sciences & Technology, it currently offers a four-year undergraduate program (B. Sc.Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). The program provides comprehensive practical and hands-on training through engineering design, project work and laboratory experiments. An industrial attachment program in third year enriches students’ experience in real-life engineering. The EEE program prepares the students for a wide range of engineering study and career options, including biomedical engineering, nanoelectronic chips, photonics, control systems, VLSI, robotics and solar energy harvesting and distribution.
