    Student Engagement & Support

The Social Work Association is formed by the students’ representatives responsible for hosting extracurricular activities and seminar and workshops in the department. As part of the curricula at undergraduate level, students work in the community on different social issues like child marriage, public health, community development, local resource mobilization, water and sanitation, drug addition, drop-out from schools etc. These activities are devoted for the welfare of the communities and by this process community engagement with the department is established. The department appoints one student adviser for each semester so that students can get social and psychological support from the adviser. Academic difficulties and adjustment with academic environment is strengthening through this support. In addition with this, the department has voluntary counseling support offered by an expert faculty member from where students get support as per their needs.
