Assistant Professor

M.Sc (Engg.), (On study)

B.Sc (Engg.), Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (1996).

Research Experience:

6 months research experience as a Key Expert of the Project INNOWA (under BD Asia Pro-Eco Program) funded by European Commission, in the Institute of Membrane Technology, (ITM-CNR), Cosenza, Italy and in the Department of Mechatronics and Natural Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe, Germany. The objective of the work was to remove arsenic from underground water by membrane technology (Reverse osmosis, Nanofiltration membrane and membrane distillation) and by using adsorbents. Removal of textile dye from wastewater by Nanofiltration membrane was also done.

Award:

University Scholarship: Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh, 1997 and 1999.
