Short Biography

Md. Maksudur Rahman Khan is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Pahang. His overall research interests encompass the fields of energy and environment, mainly focusing on the development of catalysts for different processes, such as CO2 conversion through photo/elertrocatalytic path ways, dry reforming, biodiesel production, microbial fuel cells and wastewater treatment. He has authored and coauthored more than 120 papers in peer-reviewed journals and his H-index is 23. He received his Ph.D from National University Lviv polytechnic in 1997. He served as a faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science from 1998 to 2015. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of IChemE.
