Biography
I obtained my B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, in 2009. Following graduation, I worked as a Production Engineer (Process) at Global Heavy Chemicals Ltd., Dhaka, from January to December 2010.
In January 2011, I joined the Department of Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science at SUST as a faculty member, where I continue to serve. I completed my M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science at SUST in 2014 and subsequently earned an M.Sc. in Environmental Sanitation from Ghent University, Belgium, in 2016.
In 2018, I began my doctoral research at the Laboratory of Thermo-fluid Dynamics, Energy, and HVAC Systems (LaTEC), Università degli Studi di Napoli "Parthenope," Italy, and was awarded a Ph.D. in Energy Science and Engineering in 2023. Since September 2024, I have been serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at LaTEC under the PRIN 2022 AGRIRENEW project, focusing on agro-industrial sector decarbonisation and renewable energy integration, while maintaining my position at SUST, having been on study and research leave during my international engagement.
