Biography

Md. Yasin was born in Moulvibazar, Bangladesh. He began his academic journey at Brahmanbaria High School, Brahmanbaria, where he completed his Secondary School Education, and later pursued his Higher Secondary studies at Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College, Sylhet. With a passion for science and technology, Mr. Yasin went on to graduate from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet, earning his bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering and Tea Technology. He further strengthened his expertise by completing a master’s degree in the same discipline. In 2017, he joined the Department of Food Engineering and Tea Technology, SUST, as a lecturer, and through dedication and academic contributions, he was promoted to assistant professor in 2019. Recognized for his excellence and potential in advancing sustainable solutions, Mr. Yasin was awarded the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship in 2021 to pursue advanced studies in Sustainable Food System Engineering in Europe.
