Alumni

The Architecture SUST Alumni Association (ASAA) is a common platform for professionals who graduated from the Department of Architecture, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, where innovative minds share their experiences and knowledge for the betterment of the community and foster professional development through communication.
The institute works to create and maintain affiliation between the Department of Architecture at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and the Institute of Architects, Bangladesh (IAB), the national professional institution of the country.
ASAA members aim at creating professional unity among not only the graduates of SUST but also with local government institutions and alumni of other universities from all over the country. ASAA undertakes activities to explore various ways to enhance the contributions of architects to our society and ecology. The institution also aims to provide opportunities to its members in order to develop their professional skills and for the collective well-being of the architects’ community.
All activities performed by the institution (ASAA) follow proper guidelines outlined in its constitution, which was established in 2020, along with its first executive council. These activities aim primarily to promote unity, professional development, communication, and professional assistance among members. Every committee undergoes changes after a two-year tenure through the election system of active members. Currently, the 3rd Executive Committee is in charge for the years of 2025-2026.
