1. Achievements: Became pioneer in the MBR technology in Bangladesh for the treatment of industrial wastewater Supervised students in design, construction and testing of a Pilot scale MBR unit in a local Laundry. Supervised students in design, construction of a water treatment unit for the removal of arsenic, iron and other heavy metals from drinking water. Worked as a task leader of Bangladesh part of an EU Project. Built an Environmental Process Engineering Laboratory under this project. Together with The Housing and Building Research Institute, Dhaka has become pioneer in Bangladesh for research on Polymer modified concrete as structural material in building industries. Supervised two PhD Students completed successfully from the University Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov, Bourgas, Bulgaria.
