SUST Research Centre

Introduction :

The SUST Research Centre, an integral part of this university, established on 27 July 2011 with a view to enhancing the research environment for the faculty members of this university. As a tertiary-level educational institution, the teaching-learning activities of SUST are noteworthy in the national context; however, the research performance and scopes are limited for several reasons particularly due to limited physical infrastructure, laboratory facilities, and funds. In this backdrop, the SUST Research Centre tries to boost-up the researchers by allocating small funds to carry out their research endeavors. There is no denying fact that the generation of new knowledge is one of the prime objectives of a university as already mentioned earlier. Although  SUST has exceeded twenty-five years of its emergence, the university still, far away to be established and recognized as a research university.
