About IPE Association

An active students’ association for the welfare of the students. In addition to formal technical education - development of personality, practice of  self expression, leadership and organizational skills and socio-cultural sensitivity can play a big role in producing good responsible engineers. Industrial & Production Engineering Association(IPEA) is working with this goal. The association arranges occasions and activities, which make such practices possible. These activities also allow to enhance good relationship  between - the students themselves, the teachers and the students.

The objective of the association is

•  to organize social and cultural events,
• to publish magazines, wallpapers and bulletins etc.
• to exchange views and knowledge among themselves.

Structure of IPE Association :

According to the present constitution, each and every student of Industrial and Production Engineering is the member of the IPEA. Two students from each semester are elected as Executive Member. The head of the department is the President of the association. He presides the executive committee. A selected faculty member acts as the Treasurerof the association. Vice President and General Secretary are elected from 4^th year 2^nd semester students. Assistant Treasurer and Assistand General Secretery come from 3^rd year 2^nd semester students. Sports Secretary, Publication Secretary, Cultural  Secretary and Female Cultural Secretary are elected from 2^nd year 2^nd semester students.

General Members :

The core of the IPEA is basically the students of Industrial &Production Engineering department. The faculty of the department also play an active role in the activities of the association as general members. Being a part of the department is also being a part of this association.

Executive Members :

Two students from each semester are elected by the students as members of the executive committee of IPEA. Student representatives for the executive committee are generally elected for a term of one year.
