    Dr. Nurshad Ali joined as a Lecturer at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in 2017. Prior to coming here, he worked as a doctoral student at Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors, Dortmund, Germany. In 2016, he received his PhD. degree in Natural Sciences from the TU Dortmund University, Germany. He completed the M.Sc. and B.Sc. from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He also worked as a faculty member at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Gono University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
    Dr. Ali’s research focuses on the area of Food Nutrition, Biomarkers of Diseases, Metabolism, Hepatology, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, Toxicology, Public Health, Epidemiology and Environmental Health.
