    Biography:

    Dr. Haque is a Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). He has joined at the same department as a Lecturer in 2010. He is a lead member of the transportation engineering division. His researches are highly focused on modelling transport related issues such as road user’s behaviour, land use and transport interaction, public transportation, road safety, etc. He is a competent choice modeller and has skills on programming environments (e.g. R), modeling tools (e.g. Alogit, Biogeme, Apollo, Ngene,) and other necessary software packages (e.g. ArcGIS). As a part of his research exposure, capacity building and networking, he attended many national and international seminars, conferences and training programs in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. Dr. Haque is also working as a senior consultant at the Center for Research, Testing and Consultancy of CEE, SUST.
