    Biography:

    Md. Mostafizur Rahman was born in rural area, Mandari village, in Lakshmipur, a southeast coastal district of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh. He completed his elementary education from Mandari city Primary School; and then, he passed his junior school course, S.S.C., from Mandari High School and higher secondary education, H.S.C., from Noakhali Government Colledge. Then, he admitted to the Department of Chemistry, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, and completed his B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry with first position along with letter grade A and M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with first position along with letter grade A. He obtained Prime Minister Gold Medal Award 2006 for his excellent result under the Faculty of Physical Sciences, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC). He joined the Department of Chemistry, SUST as a Lecturer. Then, he moved to the Osaka Prefecture University in 2011. After completion of his Ph. D. from the Department of Applied Chemistry, Osaka Prefecture University, Japan, he rejoined to the Department of Chemistry, SUST as an Assistant Professor. Currently, he is promoted to Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, SUST.
